People

Andrew Francis, Chief Executive

Andrew Francis was appointed Chief Executive of Realindex Investments in late 2008. Andrew has more than 16 years’ experience in consulting, funds management and investment banking.

Prior to his Realindex appointment, Andrew held various positions at Perpetual Investments, Mercer Investment Consulting and Macquarie Bank and has experience in a number of relationship management, consulting and investment management roles.

Andrew has a degree in accounting and finance and a graduate diploma in finance.

Peter M. Bull, Portfolio Manager

Peter has thirteen years’ experience in the industry, including global equity research and product development, portfolio management, and sell–side consultative rolls. Prior to joining Realindex in mid–2009, Peter worked at Mellon Capital Management in Boston, and for seven years at Investment Technology Group (ITG). Peter has authored several papers on global equity subjects and has performed original research and product development on numerous topics.

Peter has a BA in Mathematics from Whitman College and an MS in Computational Finance from the Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology. Peter has been a CFA Charter holder since 2003 and is a member of the CFA Society of Sydney and the Q Group.

Raelene de Souza, Portfolio Manager

Raelene has eleven years’ experience in quantitative equities. Prior to joining Realindex, she served as a Associate Director and Senior Quantitative Analyst at Macquarie Securities in Sydney. She has also undertaken and published research on various equity markets including Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, US and UK.

Raelene has a Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Wollongong and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from FinSia, and has been a CFA Charter holder since 2003.

Brigette Forbes, Portfolio Specialist

Brigette has three years’ experience in the industry. Prior to joining Realindex, Brigette held a Business Assistant position within the Global Fixed Interest team at QIC.

Brigette has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Tasmania and a Master of Business in Applied Finance from the Queensland University of Technology.
